MRT-3 Improves Daily Commute with New Train Car and Schedule
The appointment of the new Department of Transportation changed the dynamic of the MRT-3. The latest schedule imposed by DOTR Secretary Vince Dizon for MRT-3 will benefit not just hundreds but thousands of Filipinos currently located and working around the Metro Manila area. MRT-3, as we all know, is one of the important modes of transportation in the country, passing through five cities and stretching from Quezon City to Pasay City. According to the Department of Transportation, the new schedule added an hour to its operations. The new operating hours are also in place for the weekends to avoid confusion among passengers. MRT-3 is one of the most popular public transportation options in Metro Manila, and to accommodate the large number of daily commuters, the DOTr has made plans to include a fourth train car for the growing passenger load of MRT-3.
